These giaint nuts and bolts belong to a temporary sewer line that ran from Waikiki into on of Honolulu's sewer mains after the one in Waikiki broke a couple of years ago. These nuts and bolts held pipe connections together for this temporary pipe was laid above ground.
Cool shot! It's really neat too when you enlarge the photo. I guess it's something about the steel that makes it look good in the photo.
