On November 2nd, world champion professional surfer Andy Irons passed away in Dallas, TX. As a tribute to the surfer, local artist Ron Artis made this memorial to Irons in the front yard of Artis' Hale‘iwa gallery and studio. Today, a memorial service is being held at "Pine Trees" (Waiola Beach Park) in Hanalei, Kaua‘i (Irons' hometown).
