New Breed Of Plumeria

Horticulturalists and botanists have teamed up to develop a more colorful type of plumeria in which the the center of the flower can vary in color as seen here in a photo taken at a nursery somewhere in Hawai‘i. The ubiquitous flowers can now be genetically altered to produce a white flower with colors other than the typical yellow (Plumeria Alba). The team will also be working with other plumeria species to alter the colors of the yellow and pink varieties. Named the Plumeria Fotoshoppus, this new breed of plumeria will be available in small quantities from select nurseries.

Gotcha!
