Howzit!
That's what I call a window seat! A crew member of this McDonnell-Douglas KC-10A "Extender", from the 60th & 349th AMW (combined USAF units based at Travis AFB, CA) flashes the "shaka" sign as they taxi by a few aircraft photographers at HNL. That jumpseat behind the captain's seat has one huge window to look out of.
It was one of those days where the winds were blowing from the southwest, which causes the HNL air traffic pattern to reverse itself. This KC-10A was taxiing out to HNL's "Reef Runway" for a re-fueling mission somewhere over the Pacific Ocean. How appropriate that their call sign is "Petrol".

That's one gigantic plane. The window must give an amazing view up in the air!
Lucky traveller. Must be quite an experience, from that seat.
Airplanes are awe-striking, especially regarding how it works.
Cute!
I like the framing of this one.
