I met Shiho over two years ago, while she was on holiday from New Zealand, and spent a couple of days taking her sightseeing. I took this photo of her on the day she returned to New Zealand, and turned the sunset into a watercolor painting. This was one of the first "paintings" I did in Photoshop, she said she thought that was neat effect.

That's so beautiful!! I love the photograph and the effect you added with photoshop is so cool! I have photoshop on my computer but I've never been able to figure out how to use it. I need to get a book and figure it out one of these days. That's a beautiful portrait of Shiho!
Beautiful picture, great photoshop effect! Also loved to see your rare-birds blog!
The background came out wonderful and the colors on Shiho came out perfect.
Cool effect with this image.
