A first quarter crescent moon sets in the early evening hours in the heart of Honolulu's Chinatown. Looking down Maunakea Street, with only my CoolPixL3 point-and-shoot and my monopod, I had to get this shot as I was leaving my Bible study group (which happens to be on Tuesday nights).

The crescent moon really stands out at the end of the street. I really like these spur of the moment shots!
