When in Hale‘iwa, on O‘ahu's north shore, one has to make a stop at Matsumoto's Shave Ice. It's an institution in Hale‘iwa, that draws folks from all over the world to have a shave ice (a.k.a. snow cone).
Kathy's nieces and nephew were in town a few weeks ago, and we all stopped there after a day of picnicking on that side of the island. This shot was proof that they had their shave ice while they were in Hawai‘i.
