Controversy

A couple of weeks ago, the Hawai‘i State Senate voted on the civil-unions bill. Supporters of traditional marriage (dressed in white) and supporters of same-sex marriage (rainbow-colored lei) of the bill filled the Senate gallery before the vote. The Senate passed the bill that day, but the House indefinitely postponed action on the bill a few days ago.

It seems like you cover all the big events in Hawaii! (Sorry you won't have the pro-bowl this year.)
