The Hawai‘i Department of Corrections has inmates housed in prisons on the mainland. Occasionally, as inmates are brought back, and other inmates are rotated out, the DoC charters flights to transport the inmates. Hawai‘i Sheriff's Department deputies surround this Sun Country Airlines 737 with their cruisers, as inmates de-plane to waiting buses.
