Winglet

Today's photo is of an Aviation Partners Boeing Blended Winglet® on a Boeing 737-700. This particular 737 is the BBJ (Boeing Business Jet) variant, which is basically a $60 million airliner converted into a private jet. These winglets enhance the aircraft's performance in range and fuel consumption.

This 737 was parked next to another 737 that was being delivered to Air China (in a special paint scheme for the 2008 Beijing Olympics). I had to stand under the BBJ winglet to get a full shot of the Air China jet.
