Hawaiian Monk Seal

World-renown marine artist Wyland, adds detail to the Hawaiian monk seal that he painted near the main entry door of Aloha Airlines' N748AL, "Koholālele". The monk seal face was painted there to greet boarding passengers of this flying canvas.

That's a beautiful painting. I heard that the monk seals are getting to be fairly rare now. I have a friend who saw one recently and they were putting barriers around it to keep the people away from it. I like this photo!

Wyland does some amazing art work. How nice to showcase it at the airport.
