Warning!


One of the warning signs around Shark's Cove warns beach goers about the sharp rocks that form the huge tidal pool that many go snorkeling. "Reef walker" shoes are necessary if you choose to ignore the sign and navigate around the rocks.

Years ago, on our one trip to Hawaii, I had more than a few bleeding cuts after a day at Hanauma Bay on Oahu. From both swimming and trying to walk around to the blow hole.
