Angel Hood Ornament

This angel hood ornament was on the hood of a 1930s-era Ford Victoria that was part of a vintage and classic car show at the end of April.

That's a classic. You don't see anything like that anymore on cars.

What a beauty! It does feel quite right on a car. You feel speed thanks to the forward direction of that hood ornament, with the angel wings representing swift movement as well. Attached to the car, it becomes an integral part in the style of an automobile.

Oh, that does look quite suitable for a car. An angel is like a messenger, right? With that in mind, the hood ornament becomes an image of speed and swiftness, which is a nice way to represent that car.
