Hula Instruments

Hula is not only about the dance, but the dancers themselves use the above instruments in their performances to accompany the musicians.

Ulī‘Ulī: are feathered gourd rattlers.

Pū‘ili: split bamboo sticks.

Ipu: single gourd hand drum.
