
Marine artist Wyland adds a lighter shade of blue-grey to the humpback whale being painted on the right aft section of N748AL, "Koholālele". I was standing about ten yards from the cherry picker, to get this shot at 1/500 seconds ... that was the only way I could avoid becoming one with the paint.

The picture is so pristine. You can see the spray of paint so clearly. I'm glad they were wearing masks. I would have been afraid to get close to that paint spray with my camera!
